How to get into the Ruins

The quest “Adventure: Jungle Ruins” is given by the Wolf Cub and Land Steward Zu Long, who stand together in the cities. It takes you to the north or south hall at random, and from there a corridor leads to the Treasure Seeker. At the same hours the portal on top of the “Jungle Ruins” pyramid in the Misty Thicket takes you there too: climb the stairs and step into the green glow.

Jungle Ruins Treasure

3 minutes after the Ruins open, a large chest appears in the last hall. There is only one for everyone: it is opened by whoever reaches it first and stays next to it for 12 seconds. Inside is the Eye of the Jungle. Traps and guards are right next to it.

Transfers and traps

The Ruins confuse the way. Transfer circles throw you anywhere, altars and passages blocked with stones send you back to the entrance, and an invisible warden waits in the green glow. The Urgent Errand timer does not stop meanwhile.

Step into a circle and it takes you at random to one of 9 places marked on the map in its colour: pink for the west circle, orange for the east one. The west circle sends you back to the entrance about 1 time in 8.

Step on an altar and it takes you to the entrance, to the Treasure Seeker: on the map this is the blue mark. A passage blocked with stones sends you back the same way. Next to the Ruins Treasure the altar becomes the shortest way back.

Guards

Level 150 guards walk the halls. They cannot be damaged and drop no loot, and one hit takes from 50 000 health. They notice you at 10–20 metres, so the way to the chests and to the Hunter goes around them.

Frequently asked questions

When can I get into the Ruins?

Every Sunday from 15:00 to 18:00 through the Wolf Cub or Land Steward Zu Long in the cities, or through the portal on top of the pyramid in the Misty Thicket, from level 40. Chests that nobody has opened yet stay until the end of Sunday.

Why was I sent back to the entrance?

You stepped on an Altar of Return, into a passage blocked with stones or into the west transfer circle. The Urgent Errand timer keeps running.

How do I leave the Ruins?

Through the portal in the round hall next to the Treasure Seeker. It takes you to Archosaur.

Can the guards be defeated?
