02 · stage cost

Polymaterial

A solo stage costs 1 to 4 Polymaterials, depending on the chapter and difficulty. A party stage is free: in party mode Polymaterial is only needed for the “Bosses: many” choice, 1 to 3 depending on the chapter. Polymaterial is made at the Twilight Forge, which stands in the Temple hall and in Archosaur.

  • 5 of each material for 1 Polymaterial
  • level 3 resources, 73–80 spots each in the world

03 · opening

Opening a stage

Each chapter has its own gate. The pillar by the gate opens it, with a portal behind. Then pillars ask for the mode and difficulty, and in party mode also the number of bosses and monsters. The gate and the difficulty make the stage number: gate 1 with difficulty 1 is stage 1.1, gate 3 with difficulty 3 is 3.3.

Solo and party

The mode sets the Temple's strength, not your party size: both modes open for one player or a party of up to 6. Solo has fewer bosses, Forbidden Pillars close some rooms, and the stage costs Polymaterial. Party mode opens the whole chapter, with more and tougher bosses and story NPCs.

A Temple opened in party mode: monsters and story NPCs with quests

Solo

  • 1–6 players: a party can open solo too
  • 2–3 bosses per stage
  • 1–4 Polymaterials per stage
  • Forbidden Pillars close some rooms
  • no story NPCs

Party

  • 1–6 players: you can open party mode alone
  • 4–9 bosses per stage, each several times tougher
  • the stage is free, “Bosses: many” costs 1–3 Polymaterials
  • chapter 2 with “Bosses: many”: the party leader breaks the Seal Pillar, and one more boss appears
  • story NPCs with optional quests
  • final boss only on 3.3

05 · forges

Temple forges

Three forges in the hall make Temple gear: “Weapon 60+” makes weapons (Blacksmith), “Armor 70+” armor (Tailor), “Accessories 80+” accessories (Craftsman). The Twilight Forge makes Polymaterial. Every next item needs a Weapon Spirit: it comes from the previous item, dismantled at a city blacksmith, tailor or craftsman.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

How many players does a stage need?

From 1 to 6 in either mode: both solo and party mode open for one player or a party. The mode changes bosses, rooms and cost, not the party size.

Where do I get Polymaterial?

Make it at the Twilight Forge (in the Temple hall or in Archosaur) from 5 of each: Refined Wood, Tempered Steel, Grinding Powder, Coal. They are gathered from level 3 resources all over the world.

Where does the Weapon Spirit for the next item come from?

Dismantle the previous Temple item at a city blacksmith, tailor or craftsman. The forge shows which item exactly.

Why can’t I reach some rooms solo?

Forbidden Pillars close them. These rooms and their bosses are in party mode only.

Where is the final boss?

Dream World Lord appears only on stage 3.3 in party mode, once Judge Ji Zhun is defeated.
